On the Old Fort side of the creek
is a narrow area that sits about halfway between the front and
rear boundary lines of the Backyard. On the right side is a
steep bank going straight down 10 to 15 feet into the creek
bed and on the left is a hill going up a short distance to the
Backyard's side boundary. The Hill Trail starts (or ends) near
the Stick Fort end and at a far end a 6 foot sloping drop separates
it from the plain the Crossing and Old Forts are on. Basically
if your on that side of the creek you can't avoid it. A few
skillful player can hold off three times their own number. The
Pinch Point is pain in the rear if your
trying to move through against determined defenders. It's always
a race to try to get to the Pinch Point
to set up an your ambush, before the bad guys do . Mike and
Joe recently put in a few more log bunkers to make it even more
fun.
