| The Hog Pen | After a game, Paul Rosengrant was telling a war story, and he described this little set of log bunkers as the Hog Pen. Well, I don't think Paul was ever a successful farmer, but the name stuck (I'm glad he didn't call it the Hen House). The Hog Pen is located on the point of the Rise nearest to the Staging building. The Bunker is about 60 feet down the Rise from it. Because it sits here it is one of the few good spots to attack the bunker from. If your defending the Bunker you also want to hold the Hog Pen. Mike has improved the Hog Pen so that it has almost become a fort in itself. It also looks out over the Field and is in range of the Cedar tree and the Deadman Fort. |
