Hill
Trail

The Hill Trail
is a bad spot to get ambushed on. Running parallel to the creek
it climbs up to a height that can see (or be seen from ) across
the creek and into the Reeds. Before the Bridge was constructed
we staged from the back porch of Mike's house. The Hill
Trail was usually the way we entered the field to start
the first game we would send one team down the trail to defend
the Old Fort, give them about 10 minutes to set up a defense,
then the attacking team would head down the trail to dig them
out. Because the banks of the creek next to the Hill
Trail are too tall to climb up or down is leads you right
into the Pinch Point which is always a factor. |

The Hill Trail
has been upgraded over the history the the backyard. Mike has
made it wider, flatter and moved it away from the creek's steep
banks. |
