Turn out: 18. Game Report by Joe Lambert

Paul Wright

The temperature was suppose to be in the high 50s, but it never got there. About 18 guys showed up.
Game 1. {Attack/Defense} We played our standard A/D on the bunker for the first game. My team, yellow, was on on attack. I got over to the Dead Man bunker and my Shocker broke paint and kept breaking until Mike shot me in the back from the reeds. We lost.
Game 2. {Attack/Defense} We reversed the teams same game. I found out after the last game that I had got a hold of some bad paint, after switching to some other batch I never had any more trouble the rest of the day. After a short time I got aggressive and moved off "the Rise" to a newer bunker mike put up about 30 ft in front of the "Hog Pen". No bad guys saw me move up so I just laid low and waited patiently (something I rarely do). Patients paid off when Mike moved up about 40 ft to my 10 oclock at the old particle board bunker. I fired and he ducked to his right. One of me teamates fired at him from the hill tape line direction and forced him back to my side of the bunker were I got him. During this time I could hear Craig giving order directly in front of me about 50 ft, but couldn't see him becuse of the brush. Reeve ran out from that positon to the center particle board bunker in the edge of the field. I waited for a shot as nobody knew I was there (except Mike). Reeve took off for the "Reeds". I blasted away, as were several of my teamates, he called out. I waited a little while more and finally decided to try an rush Craig. I swung around to my left past the bunker that Mike had been at, saw him behind the pile of lumber and started firing as I moved. About that time I notced the player wasn't Craig, It was his little son (a pee wee). I can't remember his name but to his credit he didn't panic, freeze or run, but kept a steady stream of paint coming my way until I hit him and he called out. As I returned to "the Rise" Paul informed me I was a lucky guy, he was probaly right. It has quited down so Paul and I then worked our way down to the "Log Fort" in a sweep for any possible back door move. We turn and made our way back toword the Bridge as the time ran out. We won.
Game 3. {Special} I ran a special radio scenario for this game. I spilt the team into experienced vs inexperienced, I put Craig in charge of the yellow group, Mike in charge of the Red. I sent the yellow team (with masks on) to the "Corner Fort" and the red team up to the house. After that I radioed the Mike (red) to send out 3-two man scouting units. Then I radioed Craig (yellow) to send 1 man to gaurd each fort. Then I gave Mike two smoke bombs and told him the objective (worth 5 points) was to destory the "Corner Fort" with a smoke bomb. I then radioed Craig (yellow) and told him he was free to do what ever but the forts were worth victory points ( I didn't say how much). At first I put dead guys back in the game, by telling them to find their leader and they could pull their barrel plug. Later when I could see the yellow was losing I just had their dead guyspull their plug and go in shooting. Red tooks out the "Corner Fort" and captured most of the fort, winning with fewer numbers.
Game 4. {Capture the Flag} Yellow- corner/Red- Old, We put the teams back to the game 2 teams I was yellow again (except a few guys left, so I think we were down about 3 guys). When the game started I went up to the "Bunker" and spotted Dan in the reeds heading toword the Bridge. I moved down to the same bunker I was at in game 2 and ambushed Dan when he showed up. I then when down to the reeds and was thinking about traing to cross untill I saw 2 guys guarding the "Crossing Fort". I moved down toword the fire near the "Log Fort" and got shot by an unseen sniper. I guess I was one of the last guys left. During this game the temperature dropped about 10 degrees. red won
Game 5. {Capture the Flag} Yellow- old/Red- corner, I moved up to the corner, then to the rise. I spotted 3 red guys coming my way. I pulled back and try to hide in ambush but there wasn't enough cover. I pulled back to the fort, two teamates were thier. I told them about our company coming. My gun was running out of air when time ran out. Tie
