Turnout: 14

Hmm,maybe this isn't such a good idea...

Game report by Mike: Despite a Wintry look, temperatures ran a balmy 26 to 28 degrees above zero with little to no wind. Fourteen came out to play in the snow.
Gun trouble was to be expected, and we had some but surprisingly little. Most was due to paint breaking in the gun, or worse yet, cold brittle balls breaking in the hopper, causing miss feeds and chopped balls. Many cold weather problems were avoided by warming up around the staging building's wood stove between games. Occasionally, someone's feet would slide out from under them on the slippery slops, but no one was hurt or broke any equipment. All had a good time.

First two games were attack defend against the bunker. With little concealment, there were few surprise moves. Attacks were foiled by the defenders in both games.
The next two were capture the flag, Log & Corner fort. I was eliminated by a flank OSOK (1 shot, 1 kill) from Chris' pump while defending the Corner. The Red team captured the flag to win in my absence. Next game the Red team made a steady & hard push all the way from Log to Corner. Captured & returned the flag less than a minute before the Yellow attack squad showed up on the creek side of the Log fort.

Fifth game was an attack defend with yellow defending the Bridge fort. Red attacked in two groups, one on the North tape line and one from the reeds. Our coordination was good. I was eliminated while dashing from the North side weeds to cover within range of the objective while Mark, from the red squad, shot out the guy that was busy shooting me. Red took the Bridge fort.
Several had to call it a day, the remaining six diehards decided to play a three on three no time limit elimination game with Red starting out as the hunters. Red advanced from staging to Bunker. Chris spotted movement and ducked into the pig pen. The other two Red moved to the Corner fort area when Chris sprung his ambush, eliminating a yellow player. The hunt led the Red team through the reeds, back to the staging area. There they found their pray in the shelter of the Bridge fort. We all three pushed and eliminated the yellow team.
